Fire in the open – city centre - Peterborough

At 2.49pm on Friday (24) a crew from Dogsthorpe was called to a fire on Queen’s Gardens in Peterborough city centre.  

Firefighters arrived to find around 20 metres of trees and fencing well alight and extinguished it using hose reels. They returned to their station by 3.20pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
