Garage fire – Girton - South Cambs

At 5.39am on Monday (27) crews from Cambridge were called to a fire on Fairway in Girton. 

Firefighters arrived to find a well-developed fire involving a garage and two cars. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels and a jet and cleared the smoke using a positive pressure ventilation fan. They returned to their station by 9am. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
