Crop fire - Fordham - East Cambs

On Friday (8) at 5.19pm crews were called to a fire involving standing crops off Larkhall Road, Fordham.

Crews from Cambridge, St Neots, along with crews from Newmarket and Mildenhall (Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service) responded.

Firefighters used hose reels and small gear to get the fire under control and prevent further spread.

The cause of the fire was accidental.

All crews returned to their stations by 7.10pm.
