Fire in the open - South Bretton - Peterborough

On Saturday (9) at 7.30am, a crew from Dogsthorpe was called to a fire in the open in woodland on Deerleap, South Bretton.

Firefighters arrived to find a fire involving two tree stumps and an area of grassland. Firefighters used water backpacks, buckets, small tools and a hose reel to extinguish the fire.

The crew returned to their station by 10am, and the area was reinspected later in the day.
