Fire in the open – Orwell - South Cambs

At 12.57pm on Thursday (14) crews from Cambridge were called to a fire on the A603 near Orwell.  

Firefighters arrived to find a fire involving grass close to standing crops. They extinguished the fire using hose reels and returned to their station by 2.45pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
