Fire in the open – A10 - South Cambs

At 4.47pm on Monday (18) a crew from Cottenham was called to a fire on the A10 near Waterbeach. 

Firefighters arrived to find a large area of roadside verge well alight and extinguished it using a hose reel. They returned to their station by 5.50pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
