Fire in the open – Wisbech - Fenland

At 10.41am on Monday (18) two crews from Wisbech were called to a fire in the open on Fen Road, Newton. 

Crews arrived to find a bonfire out of control that was spreading to a row of conifers.  

Firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire and returned to their station by 12.50pm.  

The cause of the fire was accidental.
