Car fire – Wisbech - Fenland

At 8.19pm on Tuesday (19) crews from Wisbech, Chatteris and Thorney were called to a fire on Waterlees Road in Wisbech. 

Firefighters arrived to find a car well alight with the fire spreading to a house, impacting the roof. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels and a jet and returned to their stations by 2.45am. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
