Fire in the open – Burwell - East Cambs

At 3.29pm on Tuesday (19) a crew from Cottenham along with a crew from Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk were called to a fire on Factory Road in Burwell.  

Firefighters arrived to find a fire involving a roadside ditch and verge and extinguished it using hose reels. They returned to their stations by 5.30pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
