Fire in the open – Thorney - Peterborough

At 5.48pm on Tuesday (19) the north roaming fire engine was called to a fire on Northside in Thorney. 

Firefighters arrived to find a fire involving around 50 metres of garden fencing, hedgerow and trees. They extinguished the fire using a hose reel and returned to their station by 7.40pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
