Fire in the open – Cambourne - South Cambs

At 4.32am on Wednesday (20) a crew from Cambourne was called to a fire on School Lane in Cambourne. 

Firefighters arrived to find a well-developed fire involving around three tonnes of grass cuttings and extinguished it using a jet. They returned to their station by 7am. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
