Fire in the open – Werrington - Peterborough

At 4.37pm on Thursday (21) a crew from Dogsthorpe was called to a fire on Sweetbriar Lane in Werrington, Peterborough. 

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in the open involving grassland and rubbish. They extinguished the fire using a hose reel and returned to their station by 6.30pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
