Container fire – Mepal - East Cambs

At 12.01am on Wednesday (27) crews from Chatteris and Manea were called to a fire on Block Fen Road in Mepal. 

Firefighters arrived to find a fire involving two large, cardboard filled containers in a building. They extinguished the fire using a hose reel and returned to their stations by 1.20am. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
