Field fire - Huntingdon - Huntingdonshire

On Saturday (30) at 4.23pm, one crew from Huntingdon was called to a field fire on Edison Bell Way, Huntingdon.

Crews arrived to find a fire in an area of grassland in close proximity to a railway line. Firefighters used beaters and a hose reel to extinguish the fire.

The cause of the fire was believed to be deliberate.

The crew returned to their station by 5.15pm.
