Crop fire - Buckworth - Huntingdonshire

On Monday (1) at 4.35pm, one crew from Kimbolton and one crew from Huntingdon were called to a field of standing crop on fire in Buckworth.

Crews arrived to find around 200 tonnes of straw alight. Firefighters used hose reels to get the fire under control and prevent further spread.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
