Fire in the open – Hampton - Peterborough

At 2.13pm on Saturday (6) crews from March and Chatteris, along with the water carrier from Ramsey, were called to a fire at Hampton Nature Reserve in Peterborough. 

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in the open measuring around 25 square metres. They extinguished the fire using hose reels and returned to their stations by 7.15pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
