Fire in the open – Stonea - Fenland

At 3.27pm on Wednesday (10) crews from Wisbech, Chatteris and March were called to a fire on Sixteen Foot Bank in Stonea.  

Firefighters arrived to find a well-developed fire involving around 100 square metres of field. They extinguished the fire using hose reels and returned to their stations by 5.20pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
