Combine harvester fire - Sawtry - Huntingdonshire

On Thursday (11) at 5.28pm, crews from Stanground and the north roaming fire engine were called to a combine harvester fire on Cooks Lane, Sawtry.

Crews arrived to find a fire within a combine harvester.  Firefighters worked to empty the machinery, and used hose reels to extinguish the fire.

A crew from Yaxley reinspected the incident later in the evening.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
