Stubble fire - Ellington Thorpe - Huntingdonshire

On Friday (12) at 2.33pm a crew from St Neots and a crew from Huntingdon were called to a field of stubble on fire on Ellington Thorpe.

Firefighters used hose reels to extinguish the fire with the assistance of a farmer.

The cause of the fire was unknown.

Crews returned to their stations by 5.30pm, before reinspecting later in the evening.
