Field fire - Gorefield - Fenland

On Monday (15) at 11.13am, crews from Wisbech, March, along with a crew from Lincolnshire were called to a field fire on Gore Dyke Bank, Gorefield.

Crews arrived to find 100 metres of a stubble field alight.

Farm machinery was used to create a firebreak and prevent further spread.

Firefighters used hose reels and beaters to extinguish the fire.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
