Fire in the open – Thorney - Peterborough

At 2.23pm on Monday (15) crews from Stanground and Dogsthorpe, along with the north roaming fire engine, were called to a fire on Willow Hall Lane in Thorney. 

Firefighters arrived to find a well-developed fire in a large field and extinguished it using a hose reel. They returned to their stations by 4.35pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
