Car fire – A1 - Huntingdonshire

At 6.48am on Tuesday (16) crews from St Neots and Gamlingay were called to a fire on the A1 near Wyboston. 

Firefighters arrived to find a car well alight with the fire spreading to nearby grassland. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using a hose reel and returned to their stations by 8.20am.  

The cause of the fire was accidental.
