Fire in the open – Abbey ward - Cambridge

At 8.30am on Monday (22) crews from Cambridge were called to a fire on Coldhams Lane in Abbey ward, Cambridge.  

Firefighters arrived to find a fire involving rubbish, close to a railway line, at the Beehive Centre. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels and returned to their station by 10.35am. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
