Machinery fire – Thorney - Peterborough

At 2.40pm on Monday (22) crews from Whittlesey, Dogsthorpe and Wisbech were called to a fire on Scolding Drove in Thorney. 

Firefighters arrived to find a fire involving a combine machine and extinguished it using a hose reel. They returned to their stations by 4.45pm.  

The cause of the fire was accidental.
