Building fire - Newmarket - South Cambs

On Tuesday (30) at 12.16pm, a crew from Cambridge, the south roaming fire engine and the turntable ladder from Cambridge were called to a building fire on Mercers Row near Newmarket.

Firefighters arrived to find a fire inside a recycling centre. Firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire, before handing over to on-site staff.

Crews returned to their stations by 2.05pm.
