Shed fire - Witcham - East Cambs

On Friday (2) at 7.30pm, crews from Ely, Chatteris and the water carrier from Ramsey were called to a shed fire on Hive Road, Witcham.

Crews arrived to find a shed alight with several bales of straw, machinery and a hedgerow involved.

Firefighters used hose reels to extinguish the fire, before returning to their stations by 10pm. The incident was reinspected the following morning.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
