Car in water - Wittering - Peterborough

On Saturday (3) at 6.22pm, crews from Dogsthorpe and Stanground were called to reports of a car in water near Old Oundle Road, Wittering.

Firefighters, police and paramedics attended the scene. In-water crews rescued a woman and a child from the vehicle.

The boy was taken to hospital for treatment, but later died, while the woman died at the scene.
