House fire - Chatteris - Fenland

On Saturday (3) at 5.51am, crews from March and Chatteris were called to house fire on Blackthorn Close, Chatteris.

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in an electrical cupboard.

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters extinguished the fire using a co2 extinguisher and hose reel. A positive pressure ventilation fan was used to clear the smoke.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
