Roof fire - Fulbourn - South Cambs

On Tuesday (6) at 3.05pm, crews were called to a roof fire on Wilbraham Road, Fulbourn.

Crews from Cambridge, St Neots, Cottenham, Huntingdon, the south roaming fire appliance and the incident command unit responded, along with two crews from Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service.

Crews arrived to find a fire in the kitchen of a house, that was spreading to a roof. Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used two hose reels to extinguish the fire.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
