Vehicle fire – Bar Hill - South Cambs

At 8.34am on Wednesday (21) a crew from Cambridge along with the south roaming fire engine was called to a fire on Pheasant Rise in Bar Hill. 

Firefighters arrived to find a well-developed fire involving a double decker bus. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels and jets. They returned to their station by 11am. 

The bus was safely evacuated when the crews arrived.  

The cause of the fire was accidental.
