Flat fire – Bretton - Peterborough

At 12.11am on Thursday (24) crews from Dogsthorpe and Stanground were called to a fire on Artindale in Bretton, Peterborough. 

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in the bedroom of a first floor flat. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using a hose reel and a jet and cleared the smoke using a positive pressure ventilation fan. 

The crews left the scene by 1.15am. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
