Building fire – Lolworth - South Cambs

At 11.54pm on Friday (25) crews from Cambridge and Huntingdon were called to a fire on the A1307 near Lolworth. 

Firefighters arrived to find a large fire at the rear of a building. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels and cleared the smoke using a positive pressure ventilation fan.  

The crews returned to their stations by 3.30am. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
