House fire – King’s Hedges Ward - Cambridge

On Tuesday (15) at 11.22pm two crews from Cambridge and one crew from Cottenham were called to a house fire on Gladeside, King’s Hedges Ward.

Crews arrived to find three separate fires, three front doors on fire. One of the fires spread to a house.

Wearing breathing apparatus firefighters used one hose reel to extinguish the fires and a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the smoke in the property.

All persons were accounted for. One cat was also rescued from the fire.

Crews returned to their stations by 2.10am
