House fire - Abbey ward - Cambridge

On Sunday (31) at 7.59pm, crews from Cambridge were called to a house fire on River Lane, Abbey ward.

Crews arrived to find a fire in the kitchen. Firefighters extinguished the fire, before using a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the smoke.

All persons were out of the property on arrival.

The cause of the fire was accidental.

Crews returned to their station by 9.10pm.
