Stack fire - Prickwillow - East Cambs

On Thursday (5) at 6.49am, one crew from Ely and one crew from Mildenhall (Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service) were called to a stack fire near the B1382 at Prickwillow.

With the assistance of a farmer and teleporter, firefighters worked to break up the stack and used a hose reel and small gear to extinguish the fire.

Crews returned to their stations by 9.40am.
