Fire in the open – Yaxley - Huntingdonshire

At 11.56am on Thursday (21) crews from Yaxley and Dogsthorpe were called to a fire on Broadway in Yaxley.  

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in the open spreading to a lorry trailer, containing a motorcycle. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using a hose reel and returned to their stations by 1.30pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
