Flat fire – city centre - Peterborough

At 7.30pm on Monday (11) crews from Stanground, the Peterborough Volunteer Fire Brigade and Dogsthorpe were called to a fire on Lincoln Road in Peterborough city centre.

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in a studio flat in a three storey building. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using a hose reel and returned to their stations by 9.35pm.

The property was evacuated before the crews arrived.
