Lorry fire - Milton - South Cambs

At 1.58pm on Wednesday (5) crews from Cambridge, Cottenham, St Neots and Huntingdon along with the south roaming fire engine, incident command unit and a water carrier (Suffolk) were called to a fire off A10 near Butt Lane, Milton.

Firefighters arrived to find a well-developed fire involving waste and a lorry. They worked hard to tackle the fire and prevent any further spread.

The crews returned to their stations by 5.35pm and made regular inspections throughout the night to ensure the fire was full extinguished.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
