Vehicle fire - M11 - South Cambs

At 11.34pm on Monday (14) crews from Sawston and Cambridge were called to a vehicle fire on M11 between junctions 9 and 10.

Crews arrived to find a van well alight. Wearing breathing apparatus firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire before returning to their stations by 1am.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
