Huntingdon firefighters have raised £400 at a charity car wash.
Generous motorists donated the cash in exchange for Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service staff and volunteers washing their vehicles on Saturday (March 19).
In five hours over 40 cars passed through the car wash at Huntingdon Fire Station, raising £401.15 for The Fire Fighters Charity.
Firefighter Leon Collins, organiser, said: “It was a fantastic effort and we would like to thank everyone who brought in their vehicles – and even the odd pushchair – for us to clean.
“We’re already looking forward to the next one, when we’ll try and raise even more money for this worthwhile cause.”
