The Service is dedicated to delivering an outstanding service to the communities we are proud to serve. We are currently looking for a Cleaning Operative to join our modern, progressive fire and rescue service.

The role

We have an exciting opportunity to be part of our fun, forward-thinking Fire and Rescue Service.

If you like every day being different and want to work with our dynamic front-line colleagues, support teams and the community then this role would be great for you! We will look to you to deliver cleaning at our Service Headquarters to a high standard, whilst monitoring cleaning equipment and stock levels of products.

Salary: £18,134 – £18,741 pa

Hours: 30 hrs per week

Contract: Permanent

Location: Service HQ, Huntingdon

About you

You will have a clear passion for your work and bring that passion with you into CFRS. The Service is a fantastic, fun and unique organisation to be part of and your drive, experience and knowledge will help us on our journey.

You will be self-motivated and able to identify tasks and complete these with minimal supervision. With the ability to follow instructions, you will enjoy communicating with others and take pride in your work and timekeeping.
