Barn fire – Bluntisham - Huntingdonshire

At 6.46pm on Friday (23) crews from Huntingdon and Chatteris, along with the water carrier from Ramsey, were called to a fire on Station Road in Bluntisham
Firefighters arrived to find a well-developed fire involving a barn spreading to several static caravan homes. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using a hose reel and a jet and returned to their stations by 1.50am.
A male casualty required treatment for smoke inhalation and burns.
The cause of the fire was accidental.
