House fire - Orton Goldhay - Peterborough

At 3.33pm on Saturday (16) crews from Stanground and Dogsthorpe were called to a house fire on Paynels in Orton Goldhay.

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire and cleared the smoke using a positive pressure ventilation fan.

The crews returned to their stations by 5.20pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
