Roof fire - Barnwell Ward - Cambridge

At 9am on Monday (25) crews from Cambridge and Linton along with the South roaming fire engine were called to a house fire involving a roof fire on Egerton Close in Cambridge.

Wearing breathing apparatus firefighters used hose reels and a turntable ladder to extinguish the fire before returning to their stations by 11.20am.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
