Meet Aaron, an on-call firefighter from Ely.

Aaron joined the Service around a year ago to get some life experience and help those in his local community. He is currently a student and responds while he is at college, as well as other times of the day, and at weekends.

Becoming an on-call firefighter has allowed Aaron to mature and gain valuable experience, working in a professional environment and developing him as a person. Keys skills like teamwork and communication are vital to being an on-call firefighter.

Aaron finds it rewarding to be there to help people when they’re in need.
