Max Mitzman

Meet Max, one of Ely Fire Station’s newest recruits having joined around a year ago.

Max wanted to be an on-call firefighter to push himself physically and mentally, as well as to help his local community. He really enjoys wearing breathing apparatus and being part of the team that searches inside buildings.

Being able to learn and apply lots of information quickly is the hardest, but most important part of being an on-call firefighter.
