Building fire – Wyton - Huntingdonshire

At 3.42pm on Tuesday (8) crews were called to a fire on Mere Way in Wyton. 

More than 20 firefighters, including crews from Huntingdon, Ramsey (including the water carrier), St Neots and Chatteris attended the incident.  

Firefighters arrived to find a well-developed fire involving a lorry trailer that had quickly spread to a nearby industrial building. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels and jets. They returned to their stations by 8.30pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
