Fire in the open – Dogsthorpe - Peterborough

At 5.17pm on Saturday (26) crew from Dogsthorpe and Stanground were called to a fire on Newborough Road in Dogsthorpe, Peterborough.  

Firefighters arrived to find a fire involving piled wood and trees that was spreading to an agricultural building. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels and a jet. They returned to their stations by 8.20pm. 

The cause of the fire was deliberate. Anyone with information should contact police by visiting to submit an online report or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
