Fire in the open - Ramsey Forty Foot - Huntingdonshire

On Monday (11) at 6.36pm, one crew from Ramsey was called to a fire in the open on Hollow Road, Ramsey Forty Foot.

Firefighters located the fire, which involved over 150m of a dyke, that was also spreading in the direction of barns. Firefighters used a hose reel to get the fire under control and prevent further spread.

The cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate.

The crew returned to their station by 7.50pm.
