Fire in the open – A14 - Huntingdonshire

At 1.16pm on Thursday (21) crews from Huntingdon were called to a fire on the A14. 

Firefighters arrived to find a fire involving a tyre on the hard shoulder of the eastbound carriageway, near Godmanchester. They extinguished the fire using a hose reel and returned to their station by 2.45pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
